DESI CORE

Our project embraces the ‘Desi Core’ aesthetic by focusing on the Punjabi song “Do Pall.” We aim to depict a young woman preparing herself in traditional attire as she eagerly awaits a special someone’s arrival. This moment of adornment in desi clothing brings her immense happiness, as it embodies her cultural pride and personal identity.

Wearing traditional desi garments fosters a deep connection to one’s heritage and roots, serving as a source of joy and pride. The process of dressing in these clothes evokes feelings of belonging and strengthens familial and cultural ties.
